Pair API

The public endpoints behind pair.cx, with real requests and responses.

The site reads everything from https://pair.cx/api. The endpoints are public, need no key, and return JSON.

Endpoint	Returns	Cache
`GET /api/coins?chain=<chain>`	The pairable coins of one chain	60 seconds in your browser, 10 minutes on the server
`GET /api/search?chain=<chain>&q=<query>`	Coins matching a name, symbol or address	120 seconds in your browser, 5 minutes on the server
`GET /api/launches`	Coins launched on Pair	15 seconds
`GET /api/health`	`{"ok":true}` when the API is up	none

chain is one of solana, base, bsc, eth, robinhood.

Field	Meaning
`address`	The coin's contract on that chain. `native` marks the chain's own coin (ETH, BNB).
`native`	`true` on the default native pair (SOL on Solana) and on each chain's own coin
`stale`	`true` while the server serves the last good list and fetches a new one
`rank`	CoinGecko market cap rank

Search needs at least 2 characters and allows 30 searches a minute per visitor.

Errors

Status	When
`400`	Unknown chain, or a search shorter than 2 characters
`429`	More than 30 searches in a minute
`503`	The market data source is unreachable and no saved list exists
