Introduction
Pair is a launchpad on Solana where every coin is paired against a coin you choose, from Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum or Robinhood.

When you launch a coin on Pair, you pick what it trades against. That can be SOL, any Solana coin, or one of the top coins of another chain, such as PEPE on Ethereum or a coin trading on Robinhood. Your coin always lives on Solana, and everyone buys and sells it with SOL in one Solana transaction.
There are two kinds of pairs:
| Pair | Paired with | Trading fee |
|---|---|---|
| Native pair | SOL or any Solana coin | 1% |
| Cross-chain pair | A top coin from Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum or Robinhood | 2.5% (1% coin fee plus 1.5% pair fee) |
A cross-chain pair follows the pair coin's live price on its home chain. If your coin is paired with PEPE and PEPE rises 20% on Ethereum, your coin's SOL price rises with it, the same way a coin paired with PEPE on Ethereum would.
Pair is live at pair.cx with the pair lists, live prices and the launch flow up to the review step. Launching opens when the Pair program is deployed on Solana. See What's live for the exact state.
